Ubisoft artist reveals art for a cyberpunk game canceled 10 years ago

In the depths of game studios, they constantly work on concepts for a huge number of games. Most of them are abandoned almost immediately. Players will never even know about many of these concepts. One such game is the cyberpunk project from Ubisoft.

Ubisoft Art Director Rafael Lacoste has published art that depicts a futuristic city. You can see the contrast of poor streets and sailing boats with huge skyscrapers.

Raphael Lacoste said that the project was canceled. Work on it was carried out about 10 years ago, when Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was also in development. Perhaps the project was too ambitious for the PS3 and Xbox 360 generation.

Ubisoft now has a Watch Dogs series that can also be attributed to a cyberpunk setting.
