Elon Musk: Apple could buy Tesla, but Tim Cook refused to discuss it

Elon Musk Apple could buy Tesla, but Tim Cook refused to discuss it

Elon Musk said on his Twitter that in times of problems with the launch of the production of the Model 3 electric car, he was ready to sell Tesla to Apple. Musk contacted its head Tim Cook, but he refused to meet and discuss this proposal.

Continuing the topic, the entrepreneur noted that three years ago, Tesla’s value was only 1/10 of its current market price. Tesla is now the most expensive automaker, although the company was on the verge of bankruptcy a year ago.

Then all available funds were directed to the production of Model 3. After that, Tesla recovered a bit and launched the Model Y crossover, and also announced the futuristic Cybertruck SUV.

Probably, the head of Apple did not agree to Musk’s proposal, as the company is working on its own electric car. According to the latest rumors, Apple will be announcing its car in September 2021.
