Scandalous horror Devotion will not be re-released on GOG due to player pressure

The Taiwanese studio Red Candle Games was going to re-release the scandalous horror Devotion on the GOG service on December 18th. However, almost immediately after the announcement, the players attacked the digital store with criticism, because of which the latter had to abandon this venture.

Released in 2019, the horror game was reviewed by Steam and then removed from the Valve store. The reason for such dissatisfaction among gamers lay in ridiculing the President of China – the developers decided to compare Xi Jinping with Winnie the Pooh.

How Red Candle Games will now proceed and where it will try to re-release Devotion is unclear.
