Engadget reported that Google will continue to adhere to quarantine measures until next fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also reported that upon exiting the remote mode of work, the company will change the schedule of employees.
Employees will need to appear in the office at least three days a week, and the rest of the days will be allowed to work from home.
Thus, the corporation wants to achieve greater productivity and the well-being of its subordinates. According to Google CEO Sandar Pichai, no other company has tried to introduce a similar “hybrid” week for its employees.
Initially, the company wanted to stop remote operation in July this year, then moved the date to September, then to January 2021, and now the corporation will leave the remote operation only in September next year.
