Chris Pine to star in Dungeons & Dragons adaptation

Deadline reported that Paramount Pictures has found an actor for the lead role in the adaptation of the board game Dungeons & Dragons. It was Chris Pine, known for his new “Star Trek” and “Wonder Woman”. The details of his role remain unknown.

The adaptation will be directed and written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who worked on the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Homecoming and also directed Flashpoint, a solo film about Flash.

Filming for Dungeons & Dragons is due to start in the first quarter of next year in Belfast, Ireland. The release date of the upcoming film has not yet been announced.
