Studio Fullbright, responsible for the creation of Gone Home and Tacoma, have announced their new Open Roads game with a small trailer. This is the studio’s first game since 2017.
Players will take on the role of 16-year-old Tess, who goes on a journey with her mother to learn more about the secrets of her grandmother that she kept during her lifetime. The developers promise an interesting story and deeply written characters.
Judging by the trailer, the game will be 2D-style with some 3D elements. It will be possible to study the heroine’s diary in the first person.
Open Roads will be released next year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. There was no information about the release on new consoles Sony and Microsoft yet.
