Four games have been released in the Rogue Squadron series – the first one was released in 1998. It was developed by LucasArts and Factor 5. The games were largely dedicated to Luca Skywalker and his pilot friend Wedge Antilles as they battled the Empire in brutal aerial combat. This year saw the release of the spiritual successor to the series – Star Wars: Squadrons.
