Deadline reported that Apple has renewed the space series For All Mankind for a third season. This happened even before the release of the second, which is expected to premiere on February 19, 2021.
Filming for the third season will begin in the spring.
Showrunner for the series is Ronald D. Moore, best known for his Battlestar Galactica, starring Yuelle Kinnaman (Altered Carbon), Sarah Jones (Alcatraz), Chantelle VanSanten (One Tree Hill) and Michael Dorman (“The Patriot”).
The plot focuses on the space race between the USA and the USSR in the 1960s and 1970s. The production is handled by Sony Pictures Television. The release date for the third season has not yet been announced.
