Redanian Intelligence has announced that several new actors have been recruited to shoot the second season of The Witcher. Among them was Alastair Parker, who voiced the dwarf Carl Varese, nicknamed the Cleaver in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
According to Redanian Intelligence, the actor will play Sigismund Dijkstra – a minor character in the literary saga and game, the former chief of the Redanian intelligence. Thus, Parker will become the third actor who worked on the CDPR game and was attracted to the filming of the series. The first season featured Mayanna Bering as Tissai de Vrieux and Lou Corfield as Marites.

Due to the coronavirus, it is worth waiting for the premiere of the second season no earlier than the fall of 2021, however, despite the difficulties of The Witcher, it has already been extended for the third season and it is in the preproduction stage.
