Jared Leto calls Morbius part of Sony's expanded universe

Musician and actor Jared Leto unveiled a trailer for “Morbius” for Japanese audiences. Before that, he called the film part of Sony’s expanded universe. Thus, the actor confirmed the rumors about the development of films about antiheroes.

Leto thanked the Japanese audience and wished the audience health. The video itself is a more condensed version of the debut trailer, so you shouldn’t count on new footage.

In the film, I play a new Marvel character who is trying to find a cure for blood disease through experimental science. In the process, it turns me into a living vampire. This is, in short.

I think the movie is fun and I can’t wait to see you. It’s an interesting role in the expanded universe, and there is a lot more to come.

Dr. Michael Morbius suffered from a rare fatal blood disorder, and in an attempt to heal himself, he used an experimental method of treatment using bats. The experiment failed, and the man turned into a vampire.

Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Charlie Shotwell, Ria Fend and others also played in “Morbius”. The director was Daniel Espinoza. The premiere is scheduled for March 19, 2021.
