The embargo on the first Cyberpunk 2077 reviews was lifted last night . RPG scores and performance analysis from tom’s Hardware immediately appeared online. The publication tested new products from AMD and NVIDIA in the CD Projekt RED game.

During testing, DLSS and ray tracing technologies were used. Unfortunately, there was no way to test them on AMD graphics cards, since the FidelityFX Super Resolution analog was not available in Cyberpunk 2077 .
Tom’s Hardware tested the game on medium and ultra settings at 1080p, 1440p and 2160p. We ran all the ray tracing and DLSS presets – there were two and four modes to choose from, respectively.
From the data obtained, we can conclude that stable 60 fps at 4K resolution are provided only to owners of RTX 3090 with DLSS enabled. It should be noted that the game was tested without the first day patch.
Interestingly enough, you can also notice that at 1080p, the performance of the RX 6800 XT is on par with the RTX 3090. The higher the resolution, the more superior the NVIDIA graphics card is.
When it comes to ray tracing, according to tom’s Hardware, Cyberpunk 2077 is the most advanced technology. The difference with RTX on and off is so big that it feels like two different games.
Release Cyberpunk 2077 will be held on December 10 at the PC, PS4, Xbox One, as well as services GeForce Now and Google Stadia. Full next gen RPGs will be available next year.
