If you’ve been planning to dive into the Seattle vampire world with Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 in the coming months, then there’s bad news. The publisher Paradox has officially announced that the release of the game is likely to take place only in the second half of 2021.
The information was announced in a Swedish press release back in November, but only this week has caught the attention of the international press. The reasons are the coronavirus pandemic, the desire to optimize for the new generation of consoles, as well as changes in the composition. A couple of months ago, it was officially announced that Chris Avellone is no longer involved in the development of Bloodlines 2 .
According to the press release, the problems affected all Paradox games, including those that have not yet been announced. If everything goes like this, then the vampire RPG should be expected in the fall of 2021. Then the royal battle of Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong from Big Bad Wolf studio and publisher Nacon should be released.
