The appearance of Kratos in Fortnite caused quite a lot of emotions.
Season 5 in Fortnite is marked by hunters. No wonder that characters from other universes appear in Epic Games’ production. However, this does not suit everyone, especially in the case of Kratos.
Players associate him as a serious, slightly terrifying God of War. Meanwhile, Fortnite, due to its specificity, distorted this image quite strongly.
It’s a scandal
The mere presence of Kratos is not a big deal. Everyone, even non-Fortnite players, has become used to the fact that Epic can literally introduce anything at this point and work with whomever they want.
The combination of Kratos and the emotes present in the game is the most controversial. It’s hard not to notice that “Poki” (the Pokimane emote) doesn’t quite match Kratos.
Rather, nothing can change the current situation, and people who are unhappy with the dancing God of War should grit their teeth and bear it somehow. It can only be more fun in the future, because there are already information about Master Chef or even The Witcher
Interestingly, many people suggest that Fortnite players have no idea who Kratos is or what he is doing in Fortnite at all. You can see that the Epic Games community has for some reason been very heavily pigeonholed as the one where players are on average 10 years old and take their parents’ credit cards to spend on skins.
