Media Vera Farmiga and Tony Dalton join the cast of Hawkeye

Six other actors have also joined the cast of Hawkeye, starring Jeremy Renner and Hayley Steinfield, according to Variety. Newcomers include Vera Farmiga (“The Conjuring”) and Tony Dalton (“Better Call Saul”).

According to Variety, Farmiga will play Eleanor Bishop, mother of Kate Bishop (Steinfield), and Tony Dalton will play the Swordsman – former circus performer Jacques Duquesne, who became a criminal and later joined the Avengers.

In addition to Farmiga and Dalton, the Hawkeye cast is joined by Florence Pugh, who will play Elena Belova from Black Widow, Fra Ree (Kazi’s villain named the Clown), Alakua Cox (deaf superheroine Maya Lopez aka Echo) and Zann McClarn father of Maya Lopez).

The series “Hawkeye” will be part of the fourth phase of the MCU and will tell how Clint Barton is preparing his replacement in the person of Kate Bishop. Hawkeye is slated to premiere on Disney + in 2022.
