The 5th season of the second chapter of the Battle Royale shooter Fortnite started on December 2nd . The new season was presented with a big event and in addition to a new battle pass, there are a lot of exotic weapons. We give you an overview of all exotic weapons and their locations.
What are exotic weapons? Exotic and mystical weapons deal far more damage than regular weapons. In the past seasons there have been bosses who carried exotic weapons as loot with them. Those who shy away from combat can avoid the bosses in the new season and get the deadliest weapons in Fortnite for gold.
Where are the exotic weapons on the map? In seven different places on the new map of Season 5 in Fortnite there are the mystical and exotic weapons. It is noticeable that there are no sites west of the zero point desert. You should take this into account when planning your rotation.
Exotic weapons cost gold bars: To get the exotic weapons, you must have at least 1,225 gold bars. How you can get the precious metal, we show in the Fortnite guide to bounties and gold bars .
The locations of the NPCs are also helpful when farming gold bars ; these have changed with the start of season 5. You can interact with the NPCs and with a little luck they have bounty missions for you.
All exotic weapons at a glance
In the following, we will go into more detail on the locations and explain how you can get the coveted loot with little effort.
Exotic weapon “Mandalorian’s Amban Rifle”
Location Mandalorian’s Amban Rifle : To get the coveted Amban rifle, you have to defeat a Mandalorian in a boss fight. Caution is advised here, because the NPC boss will recognize you from afar and you should only be well equipped against him. He set up camp east of Zero Point in the middle of the desert.
The special thing about the Amban rifle: The Amban rifle is a sniper rifle. With its built-in thermal optics, heat signatures of enemy players become visible. In the alternative fire mode, your opponent gives a devastating electric shock in close combat.

What the Mandalorian also has with him: In addition to the rifle, after a successful boss fight you will receive an exotic jetpack with which you can perform short burst jumps. The jetpack is ideal for climbing hard-to-reach areas in the shortest possible time.
Exotic weapon “Splode’s Boom Sniper Rifle”
Location of the Splode’s Boom Sniper Rifle: In the northeast of Stealthy Stronghold you will find the Splode sniper rifle . You can find the NPC next to a large hut. Just speak to him, like any other NPC, and you will receive the sniper rifle from him for 1,225 gold bars.
The special thing about Splode’s Boom Sniper Rifle: The revised heavy sniper rifle causes 10 damage when hit. Shortly afterwards the ammunition unfolds its true potential; the bullet explodes, dealing 60 area damage. This is especially useful against enemy squads that are close together.

Exotic weapon “The Dub”
Location of “The Dub”: The double-barreled shotgun “The Dub” can be found in two locations. In the junkyard, west of the Dirty Docks, or southeast of Stealthy Stronghold. The crash test dummy gives you The Dub for 1,225 gold bars.
The special thing about The Dub: Similar to the flintlock pistol, The Dub catapults you backwards after a shot. This opens up new options in a heated battle and you can use a ranged weapon to kill opponents directly from the game.

Exotic weapon “Reese’s Shadow Tracker”
Location of the Reese’s Shadow Tracker: You can find the silenced pistol in the warehouse to the east of the Dirty Docks. For 1,225 gold bars, you get the perfect weapon to silently shut down opponents.
The special feature of the Reese Shadow Tracker: opponents are marked with the silenced pistol. Your opponent is then visible for 10 seconds and you can see his whereabouts.

Exotic weapon “Mancake’s Night Hawk”
Location of the Mancake’s Night Hawk: The Night Hawk is a pistol with thermal optics and is sold by Mancake for 1,225 gold bars south of Zero Point. You can find him in the butter barn at the end of the desert.
The special thing about the Mancake’s Night Hawk: Mancake sells you a pistol with thermal optics that deals 44 damage with each hit. What is special, however, is that the pistol causes constant damage even over long distances.

Location of Lexa’s Storm Scout Rifle: You can purchase the Scout rifle directly in Hunter’s Haven. It’s yours for 1,225 gold bars.
The special thing about the Lexa’s Storm Scout Rifle: Even in the fifth season of Fortnite, the eye of the storm is unpredictable. With Lexa’s Storm Scout Rifle you can see exactly where the next zone will be. This gives you a tactical advantage over your opponents.
