Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada, known to audiences for The Last Samurai, The 47 Ronin, Wolverine: The Immortal, The Alive, and Westworld, has joined the cast of David Licht’s Bullet Train. This is a film about killers who confront each other in the carriages of a high-speed train.
The role of Sanada is still unknown, but most likely he will be one of the killers.
The cast of the picture continues to grow. Previously, Michael Shannon, Zazie Beetz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lady Gaga, Logan Lerman, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji and Masi Oka have already joined the film. Brad Pitt will star in Bullet Train.
The script will be based on the manga by Kotaru Isaki and adapted by Zak Olkevich. The film will be produced by Litch himself and Antoine Fuqua. The concept is described as a mixture of “Speed” with Keanu Reeves, action films of recent years and “Air Marshal” with Liam Neeson.
