Sonic the Hedgehog has proven to be one of the most successful video game adaptations. The sequel was officially confirmed at the end of May this year, and production is set to begin next March.
Filming will begin on March 15, according to the website of Creative BC Film, which promotes film and television in British Columbia. At the same time, it is reported that the sequel was codenamed Emerald Hill – the same name is the first zone in Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
Jeff Fowler is again directed and produced by Neil H. Moritz and Nan Morales. The film’s production is due to end by May 10 next year. Of course, this does not take into account the various circumstances that may affect the filming schedule.
The premiere of the second part of “Sonic in the Movie” is scheduled for April 8, 2022.
