Video comparison of original and remake of Demon's Souls

IGN has released a video comparison of the Demon’s Souls remake and origanal . In a short video cutscenes and the gameplay itself are compared with each other. From the video, you might think that these are almost different games: much more detail appeared, the graphics became much better, and the main character began to move and fight more smoothly.

The lust for power prompted King Allant, the 12th monarch of Boletaria, to perform the ancient ritual of summoning souls. His call was answered by a powerful demon living since the beginning of time – the Elder. The call of the Elder caused a colorless mist to appear that enveloped the entire kingdom. From the darkness arose terrible creatures, greedy for human souls. Having lost their souls, people also lost their minds – now they were only driven by a fierce desire to kill those who retained their sanity.

Boletaria was cut off from the outside world. Many knights perished in the fog, who wanted to save the country from the misfortune that befell it, and none of them returned. You are one of the few warriors who managed to get through the perilous darkness. You are destined to become a Demon Slayer and put the Elder to sleep again, but for this you will have to overcome many great trials …

The remake of Demon’s Souls was released on November 12, along with the PS5. The original game was released in 2009 on PS3.
