Pope urged to pray that robots will always serve humanity

Pope Francis posted a new message to Catholics on Youtube last week. In it, he encouraged them to pray that artificial intelligence and robots will always be at the service of humanity.

Francis believes that robots can make people’s lives better if their capabilities are channeled in the right direction and progress does not create inequality. This is the second time the pontiff has addressed this topic – earlier this year he called for the creation of an ethics of artificial intelligence.
