Yesterday, the official launch of Microsoft’s next generation consoles took place. Sales of Xbox Series X and S have started worldwide. Sony, Nintendo and other representatives of the gaming industry congratulated the American company on this event.
At the time of launch, Microsoft tweeted a post in which it wished everyone a good game – regardless of who prefers to play. In response, the company received numerous congratulations.
Sony congratulated the competitor with Mortal Kombat 11’s Jax playing saxophone.
Microsoft responded to the Japanese manufacturer with an Xbox and PlayStation handshake gif. Prior to that, the company encouraged fans from different sides to “make love, not console wars.”
Also on the launch of Microsoft congratulated the head of the American Nintendo Doug Bowser and his predecessor Reggie Fies-Eme, the President of SIE Worldwide Studios Hermen Hulst and the creator of The Game Awards Jeff Keely.
Microsoft itself also congratulated itself on the launch day of the new consoles by hosting a night show in Cologne. Using two hundred guided drones, the company displayed the Xbox logo, controller, console and other silhouettes in the sky.
