Improved versions of DOOM Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online will not be available at the start of the next generation of consoles

Bethesda recently revealed how the DOOM Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online update will work for the PS5 and Xbox Series. The publisher stated that there will be no updates at the start, so the titles will be launched for some time through backward compatibility.

At the same time, Bethesda announced that when updates become available, players will be able to improve not only digital versions of games, but also disc ones. Owners of physical copies will obviously have to keep the disc in the drive at all times. In addition, the company has confirmed a free upgrade and full transfer of progress, saves and all purchased add-ons.

DOOM Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online patch dates will be announced at a later date.
