Snapshot Games has announced that the full Phoenix Point: Year One Edition of  turn-based tactics will be released a week earlier – December 3, not 10. From the studio’s official comment, it follows that the transfer is due to the team’s hard work, which allowed the content to be released ahead of time.

However , another post from Snapshot Games appeared on Reddit , sent to backers from Kickstarter. It states that the reason for the transfer of Phoenix Point  was the reluctance to compete with Cyberpunk 2077. The developers also discussed the possibility of delaying the release until 2021.

The composition of the Phoenix Point: Year One Edition   will include the base game, three additions (Blood & Titanium, Legacy of the Ancients and the Living Weapons Pack), all digital power-ups, as well as a number of updates, improvements and bug fixes.

Phoenix Point was released on EGS a year ago and will be available on Steam on December 3rd.
