Can you gain a big advantage over impostors? This is suggested by a trick that has recently become popular on Reddit.
Amidst the scams and manipulations surrounding Among Us, the Redditor arekwashere came up with a “plausible theory” that could give crew members an advantage over the cheaters. This method works especially well on the Polus map.
In a recent video posted by smilekay, youtuber reviews a post on Reddit and tests a theory. The surprising fact is that this seems extremely credible, as it is enough to look at the vital forces to identify the impostor.
What does the theory say and how to test it in the game?
Reddit’s theory was tested by him in five games, and it seemed to actually work.
Each time a crew member comes close to an impostor his heartbeat changes, but if an impostor kills that crew member, the impostor’s heartbeat changes drastically. So when you see a crew member is dead, look at the pattern of his heartbeat (line jump), it could reveal the impostor.
As we can see in the material below, this theory is plausible, but requires great attention to detail.
Probably the majority of players have no idea about the operation of the vitality testing device, and it can give you a huge advantage over the impostor.
