Rumor: RTX 3080 Ti not canceled – the video card will receive 20 GB of memory

Rumor RTX 3080 Ti not canceled - the video card will receive 20 GB of memory

User kopite7kimi tweeted that Nvidia still hasn’t canceled the development of the RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. According to rumors, the company changed its plans due to the AMD RX 6800XT card, which had nothing to match.

The RTX 3080 Ti will feature 20GB of GDDR6X video memory, 10496 CUDA cores (like the RTX 3090), and RTX 3080-level memory speed and power consumption.

It is not yet clear what the price will be, but it is obvious that the piece of hardware will not be cheap. The release of the RTX 3080 Ti is likely also linked to the recent news on the Godfall loot slasher – 4K requires 12GB of memory, which is only found in AMD RX 6000 graphics cards. The base RTX 3080 only has 10GB available.

We are waiting for the official announcement from Nvidia.
