AMD continues to demonstrate superiority over NVIDIA flagships. The company posted several images to showcase the power of the Radeon RX 6000 in Battlefield V, DOOM Eternal, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
The tests involved the RX 6800, RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT. As it turns out, they outperform the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080. AMD tested the graphics cards in conjunction with the 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X, which are more powerful than the Intel Core i9-10900K.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, AMD video cards are slightly inferior to solutions from NVIDIA. In addition, for this test, the Smart Access Memory function was activated, which increases the performance in games by up to 13%.
It also reported that testing was conducted in games such as Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Forza Horizon 4, Borderlands 3, Gears 5, Resident Evil 3 and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. However, there are no slides with them.
The launch of new AMD graphics cards is scheduled for November 18th. Before that, the company should elaborate on ray tracing and DLSS analog
