Warner Bros. reported on Steam that online elements will be missing from the Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor action . The game was released in 2014 and included several online features. They will disappear on December 31st.
Full list of affected features:
- The forge of sworn enemies will be abolished. Thus, players will no longer be able to carry their nemesis from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to Middle-earth: Shadow of War
- Vendetta Missions and Leaderboards will no longer be available
- Access to the WBPlay account will be closed, but the legendary “Orc Hunter” and “Gravewalker” runes will be automatically awarded to all players
Vendetta Missions allowed players to avenge their Steam friends. Orcs who killed someone on your buddy list will appear in-game to be hunted for an achievement called Blood Reckoning.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was released on September 30, 2014 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
