A video was posted on the PS Store blog about creating the sounds and soundtrack of the Demon’s Souls remake . 120 musicians gathered in an orchestra were involved in this work.
The developers have reimagined the original soundtrack, which was composed by composer Shunsuke Kida. At the same time, only the arrangement changed, but the melodies remained the same. In addition to strings and wind instruments, as well as a choir, you can hear the organ.
The main source of inspiration is the audio sequence from Bloodborne, which also combines orchestra and choir. The songs were re-recorded at London Air Studios.
The Demon’s Souls soundtrack will be released digitally on November 26. Later there will be a release on disc and vinyl records. The game itself will be released on November 12 on PS5.
