Why would Among Us players set a period as a nickname They are harder to notice then
Recently, InnerSloth has updated “incorrect names”, making it impossible to set an invisible nickname anymore. However, there is another way to make the game easier.

The invisible nickname was extremely important as it allowed to hide behind obstacles and become virtually undetectable. The developers knew it perfectly well and updated Among Us, removing the ability to set this specific name.

The players got around it pretty quickly and instead of an invisible nickname, they now put a dot. How much it gives you can see perfectly in the above graphic. Where is the character?

How to set a period instead of a nickname?

To set a dot and make the game more difficult for your opponents, you just need to:

  • Google “u + 318d”
  • Enter the first page
  • Hold down and copy a period

It is not known how long this will last. It is also worth mentioning that there are currently a lot of bugs with displaying nicknames and some still have them invisible. Can you get a ban for this?

Typically in games, the use of mistakes in order to gain an advantage over the opponent is usually punished. In Among Us, the developers are simply updating the game with more forbidden characters.
