Developers Among Us recently released a very interesting update to their production, in which they included several bug fixes and new features. This update should fix most of the in-game issues that players have faced all the time.
The most interesting change to the public update of the Among Us beta is allowing you to cast anonymous vote. This feature does not allow anyone to see who the user has voted for, which can be a very helpful option.
How do I update my game to the public beta?
To join the Public Beta Among Us, follow these steps:
- Launch Steam and go to your library:
2. In the left sidebar, right-click the Among Us icon:
3. Select “Properties” from the displayed list:
4. In the new window that opens, click beta:
5. Select the public beta from the drop-down list that appears. Then click “Close”. The game should update automatically.
Usually, updating games on Steam does not require much effort as the platform updates the titles automatically. However, if we have disabled the automatic update setting, there are two ways to do this manually.
Click on your library and then select Among Us on the left sidebar. In the window that will be displayed, you can find a large, blue button labeled “Update” – just press it and it’s ready.
Manually updating game files
This is a very similar process to joining the Public Beta Among Us. Just follow the instructions mentioned in the first section up to “Properties”. Then select the tab “Local files” and “Check the integrity of the game files”. After a while, it should be ready.
