Cyberpunk 2077 Designer on Cut Content: Trust Us

Cyberpunk 2077 Designer on Cut Content Trust Us

Cyberpunk 2077 Senior Level Designer Miles Toast commented on the content cut from the action RPG. According to him, this is normal for big games, and two years have passed since 2018, when the first demo was shown.

Toast said that then the team gave in to the wishes of the community, many ideas sounded cool on paper, but in practice they do not fit well with other elements and systems. Therefore, there are many lists on the net that the developers of CD Projekt RED cut from the game.

Miles Toast recalled that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also had a lot of cuttings, but this did not make the game bad:

Trust us. I understand the frustration when this happens. Take a look at the stories behind other games. I assure you, they also had interesting mechanics cut out.

If you are worried about the amount of content in our game, don’t be. Less than a month left until the release, and you haven’t really seen anything. Your questions will be answered soon.

Cyberpunk 2077 has already gone gold and will be released on November 19 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. It will be available on next-gen consoles through backward compatibility, with an enhancement patch coming out next year.
