War Thunder will be pumped with a new engine and released on nextgen consoles

The Gaijin Entertainment team announced that the online military action game War Thunder will receive the New Force update in mid-November, at the same time the game will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S

According to a press release, the new version of the Dagor engine will take all aspects of War Thunder to a new level, from large-scale features to blades of grass. In addition, the PC engine will acquire support for NVIDIA DLSS technology. With it, RTX series cards will be able to provide high frame rates.

As for the nextgen version, the game will support 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. The current consoles will also receive an updated War Thunder, but without a number of visual advantages.

Gaijin plans to provide more details on the new engine soon.
