Hundreds of streamers have received warnings from Twitch for streaming music

Insider Rod Breslow posted part of an email from Twitch in which some streamers were again warned of copyright infringement. It is noted that streamers listened to music during live broadcasts.

This is a DMCA violation that governs the use of licensed content.

Hundreds of streamers have received the warning, Breslow said. At the same time, the Twitch administration indicated in the letter that the content was deleted, therefore, users will not be able to prove the opposite. Also, the warning is the last one.

The Music Terms of Service was updated by Twitch on June 8th. Since that time, the site began to actively use the DMCA. The prohibition applies to the reproduction of original music tracks, karaoke and covers.
