The recent updates to Counter-Strike’s: Global Offensive may not have been very significant, but it does indicate that the development team is working hard on something big. This is not only about the work itself, but also a public call from a Chinese external customer to connect to the CSGO engine.
What are developers doing?
Valve’s developers “clean” their title from top to bottom. They are working on the game’s translation files line by line and are also adding new options such as the render setting introduced on October 17th. Counter-Strike now runs just smoothly.
The interface still needs some corrections, such as the lack of lines separating one item from another in the menu. It is also worth mentioning the improvements in anti-fraud systems and VAC.
Some gamers could also notice that the CSGO interface generally works much faster and smoother. This is especially noticeable in the case of players’ inventory, which no longer stutters, and items load in much less time.
The above changes could herald a big new update on the horizon. It’s hard to say whether it will be a new operation to encourage you to play CS or something completely different.
