A small CSGO update caused texture streaming issues. The option cannot be turned off
The developers made a minor update to CSGO, which eventually caused a lot of problems.

Updates in CS: GO, especially the small ones, can cause more problems than bring benefits. This is evident from the last patch, which, although it did not introduce anything special or fixed any bugs, broke one of the options.

How? The option cannot be turned off in any way. The switch in the settings just doesn’t respond.

What exactly did the CSGO developers broke?

In the material below you can see what exactly the Counter-Strike developers broke: Global Offensive. The problem is texture streaming, which is the function responsible for loading textures. Its operation a few months ago, because it is a relatively new option.

After the update we received yesterday, this feature cannot be turned off.

It is unknown when the bug will be fixed. However, you can guess that it will happen relatively quickly, because many people complain about it. If an update weighing several megabytes is released in the next few days, it will probably be a fix for this bug.
