K / DA ALL OUT Evelynn’s hair in the game is slightly shorter than in the splash art.

While gamers know perfectly well that splash art is a bit different from the actual appearance of the hero model in the game, there are elements that should match.

This time it’s about Evelynn’s hair, which in the newest skin is completely different in the game than on the announcements and background of the characters. The developer has admitted a mistake, but cannot do anything about it due to numerous limitations. What?

Completely different hair

Many users attach great importance to individual elements, both splash art, which are visible before loading us into the game, and models accompanying us throughout the game.

Riot Games, on the other hand, sometimes mishaps and sometimes creates models whose details do not fully reflect the announcement and background or simply look ugly. This was the case with the Dragonslayer Trundle skin, which was fixed after players’ requests. This time, the community noticed a significant difference in hair length in the latest Evelynn skin – K / DA ALL OUT.

Even though the difference seems to be small and easy to correct, it won’t be changed. According to one of the Rioters, the model and basic animations of the classic version on which the skin is based are an obstacle.

Her kit lacks a bone for long and wavy hair + this style would have cut many of her animations, none of which could have been minimized without the legendary level animation – essentially an entirely new animation.

This means that longer hair would interfere with the model and could overlap during various animations or even when still. So it looks like players who decide to buy a cosmetic accessory will be forced to watch the K-Pop star’s short haircut.
