Insomniac Games has published an article for the Daily Bugle, which is part of the Spider-Man games. The author of the article talks about the appearance of a second superhero in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
In addition, the developers showed a GIF with Parker and Miles in one shot.
In the material, the author notes that in the beginning the new Spider-Man was not distinguished by grace, and his jokes were rather weak. However, he has an excellent mentor, thanks to whom the young superhero became better.
For months, New Yorkers, who usually look in all directions except over their heads, have had good reason to turn their gaze to the heavens. The Spider-Man we’ve known for almost a decade has somehow split in two. When Spider’s comrade first appeared, his web was not so good, his phrases were weird, and his flight was not so graceful. Since then, he has trained on rooftops and in alleyways throughout the city with his teacher.
But the New Yorkers were again interested in a question they had forgotten about – who is this new Spider-Man? Maybe he’s a radioactive twin from a test tube? Maybe he is a gymnast hungry for justice? He looks younger and seems eager to be a hero given how frantically he sways on lamp posts and fire escapes in order to help ordinary New Yorkers.
The fact remains: the New Yorkers eventually recognized the anonymity of our first Spider-Man. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like the mysterious masked avenger. Does it matter who wears the costume if it’s on our side?
Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released on November 12 in the US and November 19 in the rest of the world on PS5. A PS4 version will also be available. After the release of the game , a 192-page artbook is expected with concepts, renders and comments from Insomniac Games artists.
