Riot is giving away a special tag for free. It won’t be difficult to pick it up, even if you’re not playing Valorant.
Valorant seems to slowly slip from Riot’s hands. After the first frenzy, the production clearly struggles with the problem of declining popularity. Despite the new season, the map and the agent, the production of League of Legends creators in Poland is rather average.
Mainly because Riot has so far not taken much part in the development of Valorant and has allowed players to be responsible for everything.
First Strike is going to change that
Valorant is a typical esports production, so it’s surprising that the developers are only now starting their official tournaments. In connection with the launch of additional servers and the start of the first tournament, Riot will hand out occasional pendants.
What do you have to do to pick them up? Absolutely nothing. They will be credited automatically to all players’ accounts at the end of October.
Community views on this are rather mixed. A lot of people mention that something too soon came the moment of giving away items just because someone is still playing. However, it is difficult to say what the popularity of Valorant looks like in reality and whether the creators are satisfied or will rather tempt potential new players with free gifts in the form of pendants or skins.
