Blizzard will manually punish the most toxic players in the next Overwatch update

Molly Fender announced that new penalties are coming for Overwatch.

Overwatch is no exception when it comes to toxic people. Blizzard, like other studios, also actively fights against everyone who defies and behaves incredibly toxic.

Nothing has happened in the topic for a long time, but as we read, additional fixes will be introduced from the next update to reduce toxicity.

What will change?

As we read, the profanity filter has been improved and the penalties for being toxic have been updated. Interestingly, players were also punished manually.

The community is expected to experience all of this in the next update, probably the one from Halloween. Let us remind you that today the game will feature a patch introducing a “new” event.

Updates usually show up at noon, but it’s worth getting into Overwatch a few minutes early to download whatever is in the background and be able to play normally.
