There have been changes in the CS: GO code, the pattern of which has already appeared in the past. Usually it meant a new operation or a large addition.
Some time ago, the CS: GO community was calculating when a new operation could appear, if Valve followed the current schedule. Then it turned out that we will have to wait until 2025.
It looks like it might not take that long at all. CS: GO readers noticed that a few things had just been changed there.
Code changes herald a new operation?
Valve usually cleaned the code from unnecessary things before new operations. This is exactly what has been going on for several days. Over the past few weeks, a dozen or so different updates have been released, usually weighing several MB. Now it turns out that the CS: GO code was cleaned by the way.
Previously, it heralded new operations, and it may be so this time. It is also worth mentioning that when Valve wants to add something to the code, it leaves empty spaces in it, treating it as something like “placeholders”. You can see exactly this situation on the screen above.
It is doubtful that the developers are planning something for Halloween, but it cannot be ruled out. Surgery is a matter of months rather than weeks, although who knows & # 8211; perhaps Valve will surprise everyone with some special Halloween event.
