Mortal Kombat 11 will not support crossplay on PC, Switch and Stadia

Yesterday, NetherRealm studio announced Mortal Kombat 11 for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, and also announced that the game will be cross-play. Later, the developers clarified that the co- op function will not be available on all platforms.

Support is announced only between PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S – optionally, the function can be disabled in the game menu. Crossplay will not be available on PC, Nintendo Switch and Stadia.

The nextgen versions will get dynamic 4K resolution, improved graphics and near-instant downloads. Owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the next generation for free. In addition, the studio announced the Ultimate Edition with all the DLCs, including Kombat Pack 2 with Rambo, Milina and Rain.

The Ultimate Edition and Nextgen Editions will be available on November 17th.
