Chopping alone is great, but chopping together is even more fun! For the beautiful samurai adventure “Ghost of Tsushima”, a multiplayer mode and new content for the new game + will appear next week.
Publisher Sony had already announced in August that it would support Sucker Punch’s “Ghost of Tsushima” with free content. The biggest of these is definitely a multiplayer mode that will be available from October 16. To download “Legends” mode, all you need to do is visit PlayStation Store and get the 1.1 update for free.
Legendary multiplayer battles
Multiplayer features new story missions for two players and survival tasks for four players. Additionally, a three-stage raid for four players has already been announced, but it will only be released in the coming weeks. To get started with your samurai friends, of course, you need a PlayStation Plus membership.
Once the update is installed, you will meet a new character in the game – Gyozen, the narrator. He will take you to the Hall of Legends. You can also access it easily through the main or pause menu. And of course, when a friend invites you.
Class: four classes
In the multiplayer mode, there are four classes with different skills. The samurai hits hard and takes a lot, the hunter shoots explosive arrows from ambush. The Ronin class acts as a typical support and heals wounded units and the sneaky assassin teleports to the battlefield in no time.
For successful missions, the game rewards you with new masks, better gear, cosmetic items, and new trophies.
New horse in the new game +
The new game +, which is available after playing once in the campaign, is even more difficult. You can of course keep your equipment if you start over. And: if you want, you can also lower the difficulty level a bit.
You can also expect a new horse with a fiery red mane and exclusive saddle, new talismans, upgrades for your gear, and new Ghost Flowers, which you can collect and exchange for rewards.
You can find full details on the update and the new “Legends” multiplayer mode on the full PlayStation blog.
