The best installment in the Far Cry 3 franchise may get a feature film. The writer of the upcoming Mortal Kombat has started a dialogue with Ubisoft.
More than one computer game has broken out of the digital entertainment medium to make its debut on the big screen. However, there are not so many films based on game motifs, as the developers do not understand the language of the virtual world very well.
However, there is a good chance for more good adaptations after Silent Hill and Mortal Kombat. Gregg Russo , the screenwriter of the new, cinematic version of Mortal Kombat, when asked about good material for the game from the Ubisoft workshop, pointed to Far Cry 3 . According to him, this is one of the best productions that, incidentally, he has already played.
Greg is even convinced of who would play the role of mad Vaas. He would not replace him with Michael Mando , the voice and face actor in the game. This idea could work out, because it’s one of the best acting performances in the game dev industry.
For now, Greg Russo is targeting another game adaptation, but nothing is out of the question. Probably not only for the sake of greater reach of the post, the script writer accosts Ubisoft on Twitter? Animation based on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is already in development, so if it turns out to be successful, the French may license a full-fledged movie.
