Dishonest CSGO coaches have been punished, but some of them may not be too hard hit by the entire punishment.
The scandal related to the coach’s camera bug in Counter-Strike’s: Global Offensive caused great controversy among the community. All caught trainers have already been punished and cannot act as trainers for some time.
It would seem natural for these people to be unemployed at the same time, but the reality is quite different.
A professional CSGO player is hard on the organizations that move rogue trainers to the position of analyst
Some organizations decided to save their employees from losing their jobs and … transfer them to the position of an analyst. This turn of events has irritated part of the Counter-Strike community and even the players themselves. One of them, Janko “YNk” Paunovic, decided to speak on this matter on social media:
Some of these orgs really are a joke, their coaches found guilty of using the bug, multiple times and with clear intent of gaining a competitive advantage and you simply move them to an "analyst" position? Seriously?— Janko Paunovic (@YNk) October 1, 2020
Indeed, the whole situation is irritating and the coaches themselves may not feel too much of a punishment for their dishonest act. Of course, this is a decision of the organizations themselves and there is not much that can be done about it.
