It has been almost a month since the government banned PUBG Mobile Game in India. There are many attempts by the authorities to bring the very popular game back to India, but nothing has really worked in their favor so far. These attempts include PUBG Corporation severing ties with Tencent for PUBG Mobile in India. A recent report by InsideSport revealed that the Department of Electronics and Information Technology had confirmed that the ban on PUBG was now permanent in India.


According to a report by , although PUBG Corporation is taking back the publishing rights in India, the government is not yet ready to revoke the ban. An informed source that the government is not ready to lift the ban not because it is a Chinese application , but because the game is violent.

According to the report, the source said, “The violent nature of the game has been the root of many complaints from all sides. This does not change with the change in property rights. “

The report further reveals that PUBG Corporation is now examining India’s concerns and “is ready to work on anything that needs to be improved.” The company is reportedly in contact with Jio Platforms “to seek cooperation opportunities” but nothing has been finalized yet.
