BitLife Sports Update – Release Date & Details Known

BitLife Sports Update - Release Date & Details Known

BitLife has received some really big updates lately! More recently we have been fortunate enough to become royalty, and it looks like in the near future we will be able to try our hand at being professional athletes. This is a feature that many people have requested and is finally going to be realized. We’ll take a look at all the information available on this future update in this post.

Sports update release date

The release date of the sports update for BitLife is currently unknown. We expect it to be soon, as it has been confirmed as the next update. In a tweet from the official BitLife account , they mentioned that it would be update 1.42 which is partly in honor of Jackie Robinson. On iOS we’re currently on update 1.41.2, so this should be the next major update. As for the duration, we only know that it will be released “soon” according to the same tweet.

Sports update details

Again, unfortunately not much is known about this patch. There was one tweeter that asked the Bitizens what athletic career they were most looking forward to in the update. The options were basketball, soccer, baseball, and soccer. So we know these sports will be included. They also replied to someone on the same thread that hockey would also be available. It looks like if you’re an Australian football fan, though, it won’t be available in this first update.

From another tweet, it looks like the football aspect of the game won’t use the NFL. Instead, we will get the BitLife Football League which will feature similar teams with different names. One of those is the Cleveland Oranges, which is obviously a play about the Cleveland Browns. If you’re a fan of the team, you might want to look away, as Twitter BitLife made a joke of it in a tweet.

You can also get a bit of information about the update through the image that was included. You will be able to test for a team and choose the position of that team that you want to join. The teams will have a record of wins and losses, and they will have relative strengths. We also learned that the New Orleans team will be the Diablos, Cincinnati will be the Tigers and Detroit the Simbas. Looks like BitLife is having a bit of fun with these names.

It was also confirmed in the comments to this tweet that you can be edited. I imagine that would mean you would need to be part of a varsity team, which would result in the possibility of getting you drafted. It may also mean that you can get a scholarship upon leaving high school, but this has not been confirmed.

That’s really all we know about the next update! We’ll add anything we find out, including patch notes once it goes live!
