Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ubisoft shows the story trailer

We don’t have to wait long until “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” is released. From November 10, we will be able to accompany Eivor in his campaign to conquer England. Developer Ubisoft has now released a story trailer that brings us closer to the main features of the story.

At the start of the trailer, we hear a hymn of praise to Eivor Wolfsmal from his brother Sigurd, who is apparently the leader of the Viking clan: “You fascinate me, Wolfsmal. Orphan and brother, warrior and poet – you are several characters in one person, it seems ”. Then we see Sigurd come back from a long trip and kiss his brother Eivor. Sigurd seems to be coming back from England because he has two Anglo-Saxons in tow.

Strength test with the sons of Aelfred and Ragnar

Then comes a cut. Sigurd delivers a speech at a meeting. The clan could not stay in Norway, it would only lead to more wars. Instead, it would be desirable to go to England and find a new home there . With that, Eivor swears allegiance to his brother, and the two go to England with their men and women from the north.

On the island, an Anglo-Saxon woman, whose name is not revealed, introduces the newcomers to the balance of power. England already has many leaders like Prince Aelfred of Wessex and belligerent son of Ragnar Lodbrok – the series ‘Vikings’ sends greetings. Of course, neither the prince nor the sons of Ragnar are ready to share their land with Sigurd and his followers.

But Eivor can’t be intimidated, he looks forward to the battles ahead. He would do anything to make England the new homeland of his people.

Are the Templars playing a bigger role again?

At the end of the trailer, Sigurd says a few words of warning to Eivor: “The conquests have given you a new home, but there is more to this land, Eivor. An invisible darkness. An unknown danger, the one which will determine the fate of England. . and yours “. We see several people wrapped in balaclavas, Sigurd also dons a balaclava. Is it perhaps the Order of the Templars known to its predecessors?
