The Minecraft Live event is coming soon, and while you won’t be able to attend it in person, you will be able to stream it ! It’s a lot of fun for gamers around the world, and it’s also where you’ll find a bunch of new announcements for the future of Minecraft. A lot of people are expecting to see what lies ahead in patch 1.17, and we’ll also have a chance to weigh in on what new mobs will be added to the game !
The event will take place on October 3, 2020 at 12 p.m. ET on Minecraft.net/live. During this event, it will be possible to vote for one of the three monsters created with the intention of eventually including them in the game. You may already know this, because there was a vote at MINECON Earth 2017 that took place, which the Phantom won and now terrorizes players who don’t fall asleep enough.
The Minecraft monsters you can vote on are Glow Squid, Icelandogoer, and Moobloom. Each of these will appear in a different biome, so you might want to pick which one you encounter the most! You will be able to vote during the live stream on Minecraft ‘s Twitter page.
List and details of the crowd
We have additional information on each of the crowds you can vote on, which will hopefully help you make up your mind. You can read the official announcement about it on Minecraft.net.
The Glow Squid will be a deep sea monster that has a unique glow like other fish and life that you will find on the ocean floor. They act more or less like the squid you find in the game now, which means they’re pretty passive and won’t attack you on sight. This could be an interesting crowd to coax into an aquarium near your base that will add a nice glow to it!
Now it is a hostile mob, which will live in the high mountains and cold biomes in the game. They will attack you if you get too close, and they will launch flying ice clouds! If you’re looking to make your mountain exploration a bit more difficult, then the Icelandogoer is the crowd for you.
If you are a bee fan then the Moobloom will be a friend. They look quite similar to the Mooshrooms that are already there and will have flowers growing on them instead of mushrooms. These passive creatures will stay in Flower Forest biomes and make them a bit more active with life.
