“Rift” is a very interesting map that brings a lot of refreshment to CS: GO.
For most CS: GO players, it’s just a load-planting mode. However, this is not all that Valve’s production offers. The players themselves create and maintain special maps for various game modes, such as for “Abduction”.
Reddit user “TheUselessMouth” created a map that quickly gained popularity and recognition among the community, why?
Map named "Rift" in CS: GO
The map itself is about saving the hostages. One team’s task is to transport the hostage to a random zone, the other team has to stop them.
The whole thing was created as part of the competition, but it quickly turned out that it has a great potential for something more than just simple 2vs2 duels.

Valve is often done by the community when it comes to maps, and it has to be admitted that it works out really well. However, it is rare for locations to be officially added to CS: GO.
