Xbox One X sales increased by 400%. All because they confuse it with the upcoming X Series.
Since Microsoft announced the names of the Xbox Series X and then Series S, many consumers have criticized the device manufacturers that the names are too similar to the One X and One S. Today, we can certainly say that the criticism was very valid as the sale of the One X series in pre-sales increased by 400%.
The community has gone mad and is rushing to buy the One X version
Pre-orders went into effect for two consoles. One X’s sales surged at Amazon. Of course, there is no official comment on this mysterious growth from either Amazon or Microsoft.
It’s fair to say that the pre-orders for next-gen consoles are not going well. Sony started orders in a disastrous manner due to, among other things, a failed schedule. Microsoft also failed to make good use of its Xbox Series X and Series S pre-order system due to site crashes, payment failures, and more.
Congrats to everyone who said "the Xbox naming is absolutely not confusing haha you must be really dense if you think anyone would confuse these", you've shown yourself to have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. https://t.co/7DlICyyxiS— Rami Ismail (رامي) (@tha_rami) September 22, 2020
According to some sources, sales soared by as much as 747%. This is quite a result, and it certainly has to do with the misleading name.
