Yesterday, the BTS concert in Fortnite was officially announced.
Yesterday’s announcement of the BTS concert in Fortnite was rather poorly received by the players. They declare that they do not want their favorite game to become an advertising banner and it would be worth slowing down a bit with cooperations that have nothing to do with the Battle Royale atmosphere.
How do players want to protest?
So far, many similar initiatives have emerged. The community declares that it will not play on the day of the concert to show that there is no point in organizing them if players are not interested. It’s hard to say how it will turn out and whether Epic will even feel the difference in the number of people on the servers. After all, we are talking about an incredibly popular band here.
More groups of people want to uninstall Fortnite on September 26 as a sign of opposing the organization of the BTS concert.
Epic gave me an opportunity to watch the BTS concert early, I'm really loving it so far. from FortNiteBR
All memes, non-gaming initiatives etc. they only have to influence Epic, so that the company somehow either rethinks its steps, or at least reduces this type of cooperation to a minimum. It sounds a bit strange, but this is the first time that the community is really very dissatisfied with the cooperation.
Even in the case of Marvel, it looks more or less half-and-a-half, i.e. 50% of people are satisfied and 50% complain, with BTS on Facebook, Reddit, and Discord there are absolutely no positive opinions.
